Still hoping to respond to your post yesterday on business and the glory of God, but for now I wanted to point you and our readers to a cool post from Abraham Piper on the Desiring God blog on when the Bible is boring. No doubt you have read certain portions of the Old Testament and wondered, ‘Why is this in the Bible?’ How are the endless genealogies and divisions of land intended to give us hope in Christ?

Piper’s short words are an encouragement to those who may be feeling dry as they read the Old Testament.
