Pregnancy Centers

Joe,

I wanted to post this article from Time Magazine on the new rise of pregnancy centers in the country.  It was very saddening to me to see the way people can support abortion so vehemently.  It also made me realize as Christians what a responsibility we have to lovingly involve ourselves in this cause.  One great ministry to support is Heartbeat of Miami.  For where our treasure is, there our heart will be also!

    Heartbeat of Miami has a tough battle. They are trying to open 3 PRC’s in the middle of a real abortion battlefield. There are 37 abortion clinics in Miami 37! and currently the only PRC is well outside the city. They need to raise $250K or the first clinic won’t open. They are having a hard time. Not enough donations coming in. Maybe Miami isn’t in your neighborhood, but we need to rally in support!

    Thanks for the info. I didn’t realize how difficult a spot Miami was. You are exactly right in saying that they need our support, both financially and prayerfully. It is a wonderful and necessary ministry.
