Around the Blogosphere, 7/5

July 5, 2008

Here’s a short interview with Tim Keller about his new book coming out this Fall, The Prodigal God.

A few people whose ministries I value have highly recommended the forthcoming book Culture Making, by Andy Crouch. Here you can check out the first couple of chapters for free. I have to say that just from reading the Table of Contents, I am pretty excited to get this book!

Here’s a good reminder on the use and abuse of the word legalism, from the World Magazine blog.

Another World Magazine blog post about politically confused Christians.

What looks like a great new book from Thabiti Anyabwile is now available, What is a Healthy Church Member?

John Piper has a very helpful article on the connection between knowing and doing.

Without even trying to, Mark Dever makes a good case for having a Sunday evening service.

    Larry,

I thought you and Joe might be interested in the link below.

Apparently we can now view another three chapters of Crouch’s book for free. That means one-third of the book is now available for free online.

Thanks Gino. At this rate, I’m not going to have to buy the book!

Of course now that the next three chapters have been posted, I guess I should get around to reading the first three.

Got something to say?
